I love the river in January when there' s not a soul around. A very different story in the Summer! It's a popular swimming and fishing spot in the warmer weather. It's such a beautiful place.
Okay, kitties, seal points on the right and blue points on the left. ...and Dessert!Below is a video of all four Himalayan babies playing. Their Aunt Jasmine is with them. Jasmine has been helping me take care of the babies since their Mother Vanessa took off to join the circus a couple of weeks ago. Some mothers are like that. A little...unpredictable. That's why my family keeps me in chains, so I can't get away. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video! Kittens: Rose, Jasper, Gypsy, and Priscilla
Our Himalayan babies are 5 weeks old now. They are getting playful. I love these scratchers. You've got to have one!
Ever get the Winter Blues? I do! I'm ready to see the horse grazing in grass up to her knees again. But then I remember all of those vicious horse flies she had to deal with. That part is not fun. I really can't wait to see the flowers in bloom again. They makes me extremely happy! Some things to help cope with the winter blues...
1. Take a hike in the woods. You won't have to worry about the snakes or insects. Love it! 2. Exercise and sunshine. 3. Eat bananas. The potassium is said to help. 4. Take a mini vacation. That's what I am currently planning. There are many wonderful things to do in Arkansas and the surrounding states. We usually take a little vacation in February just to get us through the wintertime. We pick hotels with indoor pools and hot tubs. I am thinking of a Tulsa trip this time. There are wonderful indoor activities in the Tulsa area. We just love the Aquarium. Tulsa also has a Bass Pro Shop we love! They have FUDGE! Tulsa also has an Air and Space Museum we'd like to visit this time. We'd never been there. I hope they have FUDGE! 5. If you've done all of the above suggestions, and you're still feeling blue...here's a sure fire fix: Buy a kitty!!!! Kitties are the BEST! Below is an old picture of when Isaac and Vanessa were kittens. Isaac was 5 months old. Vanessa was 6 months old. These are the parents of the kittens shown in the previous post: Gypsy, Rose, Jasper, and Priscilla. I've always loved this picture. I knew back then they would grow up to have very beautiful babies, and they certainly did!
